Clydean Reavis Shore of Yadkinville went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, after a brief illness. She was 95.

She was born June 15, 1915, in Lynn, Ind., to the late Melver and Esta Cook Reavis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel David Shore; son, David Lee Shore; sisters, Olive Culler, Melva Culler, Mildred Sherrill; and a brother, Willard Reavis.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Shore and husband Edward Johnson; grandchildren, David Lee Shore Jr., Barry and wife Gina Shore, Steven and wife Brenda Shore; great grandchildren, Daniel Shore, Haley Shore, Hillary Shore, Holly Shore, Samuel Shore; sister, Marie and husband J.C. Windsor; brothers, Tomas and wife Jean Reavis, Patrick Reavis; several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug.19, 2010, at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Jesse Miles and the Rev. Grady Trivette. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
