Early morning fire in Boonville leaves one dead

Rescue and fire personnel were assisted by funeral home service workers in moving a body out of this mobile home located at 1020 Freedom Drive. A fire started at around 2:30 a.m. A fire truck from Fall Creek Community Fire Department assisted with firemen. Members of the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation were on the scene.
