She was born Aug. 8, 1915 in Yadkin County to the late William and Annie Shore Hudson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blume Andrew Shore; two brothers; and son-in-law, Lonnie Hudspeth.
Surviving are her daughters, Edith Hudspeth, Faye (Jim) Brooks; grandchildren, Dale (Belinda) Hudspeth, Vicki (Mike) Steelman, Jimmy (Terri) Brooks and Billy (Crystal) Brooks; great-grandchildren, Houston Hudspeth, Karie Steelman and Ashley Brooks; step great-grandchildren, Andrew Swaim, Kali Brown and Sydney Rhoden; and a special niece and nephew.
Her funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 8 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Hal Finney and the Rev. Mac Warren.
Burial followed at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
