Yadkinville Police have charged two local teens in connection with a forcible burglary at the Four Sisters Convenience Store located at 513 East Main St., Yadkinville.

Isaac Edward Mounce, 16, of Tyler Street, Yadkinville has been charged with possession of stolen property.

More than $1,500 in damages and stolen property was reported.

At about 3 a.m. on April 16 police officers patrolling the neighborhood found the apparent burglary at the business before the alarm company notified dispatch. Officers discovered money, tobacco products, paraphernalia and candy had been taken in the burglary.

Detectives followed numerous leads, which led them to the two teens 36 hours later. The majority of the stolen merchandise was recovered from two separate locations.

One of the accused is a 15-year-old male juvenile. His information is being withheld. Juvenile petitions are being sought for felonious breaking and entering, felonious larceny and damage to real property.
