Doris Lynn Steelman of East Bend died Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was 51.

She was born in Forsyth County on Aug. 7, 1958, daughter of the late

Beauford Steelman and Nancy Boggs Ray of East Bend.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in the Forbush Community of Yadkin County.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Nancy Boggs Ray and John Howard

Ray, both of East Bend; son and friend, Daniel Ray Williams and Chelsea

Walker, both of East Bend; sister, Darlene Hawks of East Bend; a brother,

"Little Brother" Donnie Steelman of Forbush; and her boyfriend, Kenny

Draughn of Mocksville.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 29,

2010, at Davie Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Monroe Otto officiating. The

family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
